The example trajectory below is from Monnier et al, Nat Meth 2015 and can be found in the 'Demo code' folder in the HMM-Bayes code package.


HMM-Bayes analyzes the trajectory displacements and inferrs the most likely motion switching model. Here it finds switching between two motion states, one directed transport state (DV) and one diffusive state (D):


HMM-Bayes assigns each displacement along the trajectory to one of the inferred motion states, which are annotated as pink (directed motion) and blue (diffusive motion) in this example:
